I'm Megan (she/they). I write and make art. This is my personal site, where I knead the raw material of my life into various bits and pieces.
These days (2026) you'll find monthly updates from travelling slowly by bicycle in Asian countries. The phrase travelling slowly is kind of trendy, no? But I mean it literally. I'm an ultra cyclist: ultra slow.
I was born and raised in Canada, and left 2014-2020. You'll find lots of stories from that period on this site as well. Some are in the process of being migrated from my old website. And if you dig around, you'll find other bits and pieces from other writing and creating experiments. This site, like my life, is always and only a work in progress.
One of the causes that I deeply care about is how animals experience their lives and deaths. I believe that injustices are interconnected. For me, caring about oppression, sustainability, justice, kindness is incomplete if animals aren't included. To this end, I spend half of my week working online in communications + fundraising at a small nonprofit in the farmed animal movement.
